Truck Wash Wastewater needs to be specially treated due to a variety of waste components in the stream that a municipal sewer cannot handle or because the truck wash is not tied into a municipal drain. Lower flow rate system will be treated in a cone bottom tank. This tank will include metering pumps for adding chemistry and a large mixer. For larger flowrates the flow will go through a flocculation chamber for chemical addition and then a lamella clarifier. The lamella clarifier will further separate the solids from the liquid solution. The solution will then be run through a filter press for dewatering. The dried and captured solids can be hauled away.
