Rinse waters from Vibratory Finishing & Deburring processes may contain heavy metals, sand, and oils. The cost to haul the wastewater is expensive. Many companies are turning to in-house wastewater treatment systems.
Met-Chem has several different waste treatment options for your vibratory finishing shop. Met-Chem can develop a Continuous Flow Wastewater System for larger manufacturers. Batch Waste Treatment Systems or Evaporation Systems for smaller shops.
Every industry produces different types of wastewater each with unique challenges. Met-Chem has the expertise, experience, and technology to treat a wide variety of wastewater. Please Contact Met-Chem today to speak with an expert who will help custom design a system to fit your specific waste treatment needs.
Achieving Zero Liquid Discharge (ZDL) can be accomplished with an Evaporator and a Filter Press. The Vibratory & Deburring Wastewater is stored in a holding tank until it is ready to be processed. The wastewater is pumped into a heated tank system where the Evaporator will evaporate the water. The wastewater will concentrate and thicken. The thickened slurry will be pumped into a filter press to capture the solids. The filter press will also keep the heated tank clean and provide a seamless operation. The filtered water from the filter press is returned back into the heated tank for evaporation.
Met-Chem can manufacture a Vibratory Finishing & Deburring Wastewater Evaporation System. The Evaporator and Heated Tank System can be manufactured with a gas-fired burner, steam coil, or electric heater. Each Filter Press will be designed to your specifications. The manifold and piping can be constructed using, but not limited to CPVC, Carbon Steel, or Stainless Steel. As your operation grows, our filter presses can be expanded by adding additional filter plates, reducing the need to purchase new costly equipment.
An Atmospheric Evaporative Tank is an excellent solution for wastewater reduction and Water Evaporation. It is free of complicated machinery and chemistry, and it can actually save you money.
Those looking for the greatest evaporation rates at a given temperature will choose an atmospheric evaporator for its high efficiency.
Dewatering of waste solutions can save the users of evaporative tanks thousands of dollars in disposal costs. Where the need is for only 3 to 4 gallons of evaporation per hour, no added heat is required. Heat for evaporation is taken from the room.

Met-Chem can offer start-up and installation as an additional option. We can provide full support as you get your system up and running. We have installation technicians and technical representatives that we can send to your facility to make sure the system is running as it should.
All units and systems are complete with manuals and telephone support. However, if you need someone to come to your facility, we will be happy to quote you on that as well.
Our Small to Medium Volume RO Systems are designed to purify 275 to 11,400 gallons per day of water reliably and at an affordable price.
Our Large Volume RO Systems are designed to purify 18,000 to 270,000 gallons per day of water reliably and at an affordable price.
When your daily wastewater volume is not high enough to warrant a Met-Chem Continuous Flow Wastewater Treatment System then a Met-Chem Batch Wastewater Treatment System is the way to go. Our batch wastewater treatment systems range from 500 gallons per day up to 10,000 gallons per day.
Met-Chem can build a waste treatment designed to fit your specific treatment needs.
